Paul has a situation in Corinth where a man had sinned against someone in the church. He lets them know the sin isn't just against him, but against everyone. He begged them to deal with the situation so the man could be restored. He also encouraged them to forgive him, so that Satan didn't get a foothold in the church.
We hear a story of disappointment, frustration, and not knowing where God is, and we also hear from a young couple and how the gospel has stirred their hearts to move overseas and work with college students.
A healthy human body is identified when every part is working properly, with all the internal and external parts doing exactly what they were designed to do. Paul reaches for that analogy when he talks about the Church in Ephesians 4. Pastor Nate presents our Spring Vision Sunday message of maturity – growing up as the body.

What if he is pointing to Psalm 22 from the cross?
As the church spreads out due to persecution, Antioch becomes one of the primary hubs for this new faith. In fact, it’s here that Jesus followers are first called Christians. Barnabas encourages the burgeoning church in Antioch, who in turn encourages the believers in Judea with famine relief.
Peter is sitting down to eat lunch one day, when he falls into a trance and sees a heavenly vision about eating unclean animals. After the vision, some unclean men arrive at the door asking him to come with them. The Lord instructs Peter to go with them “with no doubts.” And he ends up in the home of a Romans centurion. The “bridge” that is the church of God is starting to come together in Christ!
