IMPACT – Men’s Ministry

We’re reminded over and over again throughout scripture that as men are called to lead. We are called to protect. We are called to love, to guide & to provide. We are to carry each other’s burdens as it says in Galatians. We are to confess our sins to each other as instructed in James. We know that a brother is born for a time of adversity as it says in Proverbs. We are to spur one another on toward love and good deeds as it says in Hebrews. We are to pray together and praise together. We are to be iron sharpening iron. As we lean into a Union with Christ and our spirit begins to wrestle our flesh, and we work to navigate this complex thing called life, scripture also makes it pretty clear that we’re created for community, and we’re not to try and figure these things out alone.

IMPACT is not the savior, but as men we come together to point each other to the one who is. IMPACT is not full of men who have every single answer, but we do come together to point each other to one who does. IMPACT by itself will not change your life, but in this group we come together and encourage one another to hang out more with the one who can and who will.
