Scripture tells us to rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. There are many at River City who have lost loved ones to COVID, and we grieve with them. If you have lost someone dear to you, or a job, or relationship due to COVID or government regulations, we grieve with you. We long for the day when the Lord returns, sets things right again, and wipes every tear from our eyes. Until then, we make it our goal to be found faithful in whatever situation we find ourselves.
While we are well aware that there are many different viewpoints about what should or shouldn’t be done, we believe that scripture tells us to not give up meeting together and that turning relationships into pixels is not what God had in mind. So while there may be seasons where we need to gather by Zoom, we will keep those seasons as short as possible.
We are currently meeting in person at Copper Creek Ridge in Riverside and do a live broadcast on Facebook for those whose situation doesn’t allow them to join us.
Masks are welcome, but not required.
