Celebration Sunday

The end of this month marks our 5th anniversary as a church. This is a pretty major milestone and it’s worth taking some time to celebrate! So, we’re taking March 17 and calling it Celebration Sunday, but instead of getting balloons and cakes and a marching band or something like that, we want to give YOU the opportunity to “bear witness” to Jesus and what he has done in your life.

Maybe these past five years included the moment you were awakened to the beauty of the gospel – for the first time, or for the twentieth time. Maybe it’s a testimony to healing or freedom or understanding your identity in Christ. Maybe you were baptized at River City and want to give an update. Or maybe it’s just a testimony of God’s faithfulness in recent weeks or months through a struggle you were facing. Even if you don’t attend River City, but you’ve been blessed by the church or seen Jesus in and through us, we’d love to hear from you as well!

The idea here is not to worship or idolize River City Church, but to celebrate how Jesus is at work in and through this local church. So hit the link to the right, and tell us your story!
